Our Support Options

We recognise that anyone may experience financial difficulties and other vulnerabilities from time to time. The earlier you can get in touch with us, the better we will be able to understand your situation and offer you further support. As everyone and every situation is different, once we get an understanding of your situation, we can help you find the right solutions for your individual needs.

What is Financial Difficulty?

Financial hardship occurs when you are unable to meet your existing financial repayments to Gedda Money for a period of time. It may be caused by a number of factors.

If you’re struggling to pay your loans you may be in financial difficulty.

If you’re finding things tough, please reach out to us as soon as you can.

Before You Apply

Do you have someone assisting you that you would like to discuss your account with us?

If you would like to add an authorised representative to your accounts, you can complete a Letter of Authority (LOA), with your representative by contacting us at customercare@gedda.com.au . If you don’t have a representative, you can find a list of financial counsellors on the National Debt Helpline website (see Support Services below).

Support Services We Can Connect You To

  • If you are feeling overwhelmed with financial decisions, a financial counsellor could help you put a plan in place. The National Debt Helpline is a not-for-profit service that provides free, independent and confidential financial counselling to support with debt management. Visit National Debt Helpline or call 1800 007 007.
  • MoneySmart provides free tools, tips and guidance to help Australians take control of their money.
  • Work out where your money is going Budget Planner.
  • Gambling Help Online, is a free, confidential service run by the Australian Government. It’s available 24 hours, 7 days a week for anyone affected by gambling.
  • Credit Smart is an online self-help resource designed by the Australian Retail Credit Association. The information, tools and strategies on the site are designed to assist you understand credit reporting and how you can view, control or repair your credit information.
  • Head to Health is an informative hub for Australian mental health resources.

What Happens Next?

Once you submit your application for financial assistance, we will endeavour to process your application within 14 days. Whilst this process occurs, we may still contact you if further information is required to assess your application. A member of our Customer Care Team will contact you to either confirm you have Financial Assistance or to discuss other options if they seem more appropriate.
